MT 17:20 He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, `Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. "

Faith cannot be separated from rationality. Proof is never absolute. Doubt is always possible. What counts is if what you believe squares with how the world works - i.e. with objectivity. Faith must be consistent with itself to be coherent - that is consistent with the world. It must have meaning within the world. Christianity is rational.

It is by works that faith is justified - that is faith is justified by the objective results of believing.  It is the purpose of our faith to teach us what it means to be fully rational human beings. This can only be done within community. Community is the measure of our rationality because it is in community that we can live according to a true scientific objectivity. This is full employment and the value of the earth per person.
